Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB July 1, 2013
Mickey is a gorgeous cat. He will take some time to get used to a new home but once he does, he is very friendly and well-behaved. He loves to be petted, and stretches out and purrs. He plays with toys and spends a lot of time looking outside.
Mickey is not yet comfortable enough with his foster family to be lifted up and cuddled - he panics and runs away. However, he recently sat on one of the family member’s lap--suggesting that it is just a matter of time...
Mickey has a broken tail; the kink is closer to the tip than the base. It doesn't bother him in any way and it doesn't affect his ability to move or use his tail.
Mickey's owners surrendered him to TCR because their new baby had allergies. He was placed for adoption in a pet store partner, but he didn't settle well and was moved to a foster home.
Mickey was initially very timid and scared at the foster home and spent the first few days under a bed! But he relaxed and is now much more comfortable in the home.
Mickey is well behaved and gentle and he may get on with children. His foster mom can confirm that, “Mickey has not hissed at us, even though he was very frightened, and he has not tried to scratch or bite us.”
