Trixie is a super sweet little girl with really long legs and a very soft coat. Completely house broken. Gets along great with dogs all sizes. Her blindness does not stop her from doing anything. She jumps up on the sofa without any problems, she's fine with stairs, too. She prefers to sleep in bed with her human. This little girl is very happy, she really doesn't know she's blind.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Spring City Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Spring City, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Spring City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring City paves the way for another one to be saved.
