Marilyn (Marti)'s Story...
Hi my name is Marilyn but my foster mom calls me Marti (though I will answer to both)! I am around 2 or 3 years old, I was just spayed on 03/09/2015 and am doing very well after my surgery. I am a petite 14 lbs and have the shortest tail my foster mom has ever seen so when I am happy, almost all the time, my whole body wags. I am very bouncy when excited but most of the time, I am very calm and like to cuddle and sleep in your bed, however, I will do a crate if you need me to.
I get along with my new home mates, male and female, big and small though we do not have cats so I don't know about them. I like any kind of food and need a little brush up on my begging manners and my housebreaking but it is getting better already. I think I am a watch dog but my foster mom is working on explaining that I don't need to say so much. I love cuddling, blankets, and stuffed toys, if that sounds good to you, give me a chance to show you how much love I have to give.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marilyn (Marti), a Blue Bell Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Blue Bell, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Blue Bell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blue Bell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blue Bell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blue Bell paves the way for another one to be saved.
