Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** FRONT PAW DECLAWED***
Woody’s description in one word? Awesome! As soon as you walk into the room, Woody will greet you, then plop on the floor and roll over for a belly rub. Although he is a big guy, at 13 lbs, he is easy to pick up, and he likes it. He is a non-stop purr machine and just loves to be loved. He is a great explorer, then easily settles in to his new environment. Woody, that’s his real the name, was relinquished to an animal control facility in southern Illinois when the child in his home started having issues with her allergies. We are sure this was heart-breaking for his family because he is such a sweetie, but we are also sure we will find him his new home quickly. Per his original family, he is good with kids, other cats, and dogs, once he realizes they are fine with him :).
Woody would do well as a single cat, or in a home with another accepting cat or dog.
You can meet Woody at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 www.wilmettepetcenter.com). Although you may want to adopt him on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.
Woody’s estimated date of birth is 3/4/11, and his adoption fee of $140.00 includes his vet exam, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and neuter.
