Meet Champ! This sweet boy has been returned to us after nearly a year after we placed him in what we thought was a loving and committed home. Champ has been returned to us a shell of his confident, happy self. He still is the sweetest, most loving soul there is, however, he cowards and shows signs of being unsure as if his actions will get him in trouble. We originally found Champ filled with ticks dragging a chain around his neck. We were delighted to see him learn and enjoy all the things that loved dogs should experience. Champ is currently a foster home and he is slowly returning to his happy self. He loves to play ball, go on walks and be with his people. Champ is older (opproximately 5 years old) and he is very mellow. His foster dad says he "puts himself to sleep every night.....just walks in to his kennel for the night". Champ would prefer to be an only dog and get to spend his time with his people. He is very mellow and loving. As his foster dad says, "he is a good boy". If you interested in adopting Champ, ($75 re-homing fee), please take a moment to fill out our application, http://www.povertyspets.org/availableanimals/adoptionform.html, and we will get back to you upon receipt.
