Everyone, meet Luigi! Luigi is a 2.5-year old Pit Bull-type dog from Del Norte Animal Shelter. He was found as a stray, eating trash from a dumpster. After posting his information to Facebook, Luigi’s past owner contacted the shelter saying that Luigi got lost during a fishing trip. However, the owner never came to claim Luigi from the shelter. What could have been a happy ending for Luigi, just turned out to be another situation of lost hope and faith for this poor, sweet boy. Needless to say, Luigi is ready for a fresh start! He would like any future family contenders to know a few things about him: He has no known medical issues, he’s good with only female dog friends, he loves all people--including kids, he’s housebroken, knows a few tricks, and is willing to love you all the days of his life! Can you provide Luigi with the forever family and home that he is so deserving of? Let’s prove to sweet Luigi that there’s a family for him out there that is willing to be as loyal to him as he will be to you.
Born Again Pit Bull Rescue regularly works with the wonderful volunteers at the Del Norte County Animal Control Shelter located out in rural Crescent City, CA (a small coastal town on the OR/CA border). They have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption viewing hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t always come outside to play -- so we want you to see some of their really great dogs that they have up for adoption -- it's only a short 5-hour drive from Portland to adopt your new family member!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in Crescent City, CA. They are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. They are closed Saturday and Sunday.
