Cookie is about 3-4 years old now and is looking for a quiet home that will give him lots of time to warm up to them. Cookie is a very nervous boy who was pulled from a hoarding situation where he got very little socialization. He is currently fostered with dogs and has done very well with them. He is does like to chase cats so he would not do well in a home with cats. Cookie cannot go to a home with children as they will overwhelm him and it would set him up for failure in his road to recovery. Cookie tends to take better to women than men but has started to come up to his foster mother's brother. Cookie will need a very patient home that will not push him and give him all the time he needs to become comfortable with them. Once he is comfortable he is a sweet boy who will look for some love and attention on his terms. He would love to be adopted with his brother Beau. Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes. The first step in meeting one of our furry friends is to fill out an application on our website at www.rainbowrescues.org. A volunteer will be in contact with you in 1-2 business days to review your application and speak with you about the adoption process.
