Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sailor is a 4 month old terrier mix who weighs 9 lbs. Dad was a Terrier/Poodle mix and mom was a Chihuahua/Terrier/Poodle mix. She was an owner surrender along with her mom and aunt. Sailor was a back yard dog who probably didn’t get out much or get any socialization. She is a little fearful of strangers but not aggressive. She barks a little but not to excess. She has a low energy level but her true personality is not yet out as she is still a little shy and apprehensive about her new situation. She is gentle and affectionate and will follow her person around all day if she can. Because of her fears we do not recommend her for a home with small children. She is fine on the leash and prefers her walks short and slow - perhaps because of her adorably tiny little legs. She needs a patient, gentle person who will help her build confidence and trust. She is not yet housetrained or puppy pad trained but she is working hard on both. She seems to be ok with other dogs as long as she has a chance to check them out first and as long as they pass the sniff test.
