Hannah's Story...
Hannah is a sweet, well-behaved 7 year yellow Labrador Retriever who would love a home where she can receive lots of affection and in turn give it. She is smart and knows basic cues like; sit, stay, shake, and play fetch. She is fine in the house and crate trained. Hannah would do best in a home with a large fenced in yard where she can run to her heart's content and would prefer to be the only pet. She loves to sit quietly by your side hanging out in the house. Hannah needs a family who is willing to provide her with obedience and socialization training. She is a loyal, sweet, affectionate companion who would make a wonderful family pet.

To adopt Hannah please go to our website and fill out the adoption application. http://www.southernskiesrescue.org/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hannah, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
