Daisy's Story...
This pretty girl is Daisy Mae & she is a lovebug! Sweet Daisy is looking for a forever home that will show her what life should be all about. Daisy & her Basset Hound sister come from Oklahoma & have been loved, but have never known the joys of being indoor dogs. They have spent their years living in an outdoor kennel with little exercise or interaction. Daisy adores getting attention & will follow her human around everywhere. She is doing very well with potty training & is crate trained. Daisy had unending amounts of food & has become a little overweight as a result of that. She has recently been placed on thyroid medication as well. But with a little exercise Daisy will be in fine shape! She has already lost 8 lbs! Daisy is all vetted & recently had a dental done as well. She is approximately 8 years old & would love to find that special family to love & share the rest of her life with. For more information about Daisy, contact her foster mom at or (620)353-9460.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Manhattan Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
