My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey. My name is Kale. As of 1-16-15, I’m 16.5 lbs and almost 10 weeks old little boy. My brother Jet might say he is the best puppy he knows, but it is just not true! I think I’m the best puppy. I love to play with my brother Jet, we play tuggy and chase, and even wrestle sometimes too. But he gets in trouble sometimes, but I don’t get in trouble…at least I don’t get caught. If I’m going to do something I’m not supposed to, I hide under the treadmill to do it. And while I like to play A LOT, I take time out every day to stop and love my foster mommy and give her kisses. I’m just a really sweet boy like that, my foster mommy even tells me so. She also says I have the sweetest smile and personality to match. I try really hard to be a good boy every day. I have even started going potty outside! If you are looking for a best friend who likes to play and share cuddles, then I’m the puppy for you.

If you are interested in pursuing an adoption and you live in Texas , please complete the application (links provided below). The process includes a vet check, calling references and doing a home visit.

or
https://www.formstack.com/forms/?1632205-WX2Zb144ZP

Please note the following:
We rarely do out of state adoptions. (Exceptions can be discussed but will be based on previous big dog experience and will require same adoption process.)
Children in the home or that visit often must be at least 6 years of age. (Exceptions can be discussed but will be based on previous big dog experience.)
Adoption donation is due at the time of adoption. Puppies under 1 year are $300. Dogs 1 year to 7 years are $200 and dogs over 7 years are $150. As this is a donation, it will be non-returnable if dog is returned to rescue.
Dogs are not placed on a "first come, first serve" basis but rather the best home for the dog.
All dogs placed by TSDR will be:
spayed/neutered
vaccinated for distemper/parvo, rabies, and bordetella
heartworm tested and treated if needed
microchipped
other vetting as deemed needed
New owners will receive copies of all available vet information and must agree to keep them current on all of the above.
