Brady's family was moving so they packed up their house, loaded up all their belongings in the car including Brady and, on their way out of town, stopped by the local animal shelter, dumped Brady off and drove away. Brady watched as his family drove away, confused as to why he was staying behind. At the shelter, an owner-surrendered dog can be euthanized immediately, but Brady is such a gentleman, so mannerly and well-behaved, the shelter director didn't have the heart to put him down. So Brady was moved to a low-kill shelter where he is keeping up the faith that someone will see that the best is yet to come.
Brady is that all-around great guy who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. He's affectionate without being slobbery, friendly without being jumpy, and playful without being hyper. He'd be great with any family, young or old, with other dogs or where he'll get all the attention to himself. He has a calm, easy-going nature, none of the hyper energy that is often associated with Labs. He walks well on the leash, and he'll even sit while you throw the ball and Fetch when you tell him to! Brady is about 8 years old, looks 100% pure Lab with his gorgeous blocky head and at just about 60 pounds, there's plenty of him to adore!! He may need to learn your "house rules" but he is so well-mannered, it won't take long.
