My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tink is a 6-year old chihuahua/rat terrier mix. She and another dog were brought to a shelter, they had been surrendered by the owners with no reason why. Her buddy was adopted quickly but Tink was left alone.

Whenever people would come to the shelter and look at her, she would hide in the kennel and not come out, so she was overlooked. She is very sweet but on the shy side upon first meeting new people.

She is now starting to come out of her shell and just started playing with toys. She's not a barker and loves to just snuggle in your lap! She is good with other dogs and cats as well. Her ideal home would be someone who wants a mellow lap dog, but loves going on walks.

No small children that are active. She just had blood work and dental done and she is healthy, up-to-date on shots, spayed and microchipped.
