Galway's Story...
Galway needs a home. Galway was rescued from a community Trap Neuter Return site. He discovered a TNR caregiver who had a feeding station for community cats and boy, oh boy, did he breathe a sigh of relief. He may have been a stray, but at least he found a regular source of food. The caregiver noticed this new fellow showing up regularly for a bite to eat and realized he must be an abandoned pet. Galway has been a stray for a while so he is a tad shy, but we know that once he is able to build a trusting relationship with YOU, your home will truly feel like a home with Galway. Come meet him soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Galway, a Calgary Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
