Please note: while we do adopt dogs out of state in certain cases, we prefer to keep puppies in CT due to the follow-up vetting needed (such as spaying and neutering at six months of age). Thank you for understanding.

Please welcome Hash Brown to Thank Dog Rescue. Hash Brown was surrendered to the rescue because the family he was with did not have time for him. As a matter of fact, they would miss days feeding him because as they said “It’s my children’s responsibility, and they don’t feed him” so no one would feed this poor little guy. He has some weight to gain as his ribs and tailbone are visible when you look at him, but we will be sure to fatten him up in no time. Despite his unfortunate start in life, Hash Brown is a very happy boy. He is ridiculously cuddly and may or may not have spent his first night cuddled up in his foster dad’s arms on the big people bed. Hash Brown is good with other dogs and we have begun working on his house training and his basic manners. He is just under 5 months old and we can just tell by his mannerism that he is going to be an “Old Soul” type of puppy. He is going to make his future family VERY happy.
