My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Then I remember When the moon was full and bright I would take you in the darkness And do the tango in the night
Tango... I keep the dream in my pocket Never let it fade away Inside, outside No loneliness in this dream - Fleetwood Mac 'Tango In The Night'
While our very own Tango can't actually do 'The Tango' he sure can do 'the point'. Yes! Tango is a Pointer Mix and he has the point to prove it. Tango is approximately a year old and sports a handsome white and red short coat. He currently weighs 50 lbs but does need to gain about 5 lbs to fill in. Tango is a super sweet super smart boy. He loves everybody and everything to include cats. He loves to be near his people and will follow where they go. He isn't a lap dog (thank goodness cuz he'd need a pretty big lap) but is quite content to lay nearby. He is describes as being very inquisitive and wants to be wherever the action is. Nothing gets by this boy, he hears all, birds, other dogs, and faraway trains. He alerts and let's you know something's up (remember he does 'the point' very well). Tango is house trained by way of a doggie door. He is also crate trained but does not actually need to be crated as he is well behaved. He does have a proclivity towards picking things up around the house but has not destroyed any of his found treasures (so put your underwear away or he'll show it off). Tango loves to go for walks and is excellent on leash. He is a very quick study and has already mastered sit, down, and is ever so close to shake. Like most pups, Tango definitely has his playful side and quite enjoys the company of his foster sibling for a good romp around the yard. Tango is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. This bright young boy is a dream inside and outside and there will be no such thing as loneliness on his watch. So if you are ready to share your loving forever home with a boy who does 'the point' then we would like to 'point' you in the direction of Tango.
