My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS AN E-RESCUE DOG

Meet beautiful Coco. Most of you know her heart wrenching story but in case you have no heard, here it is from her angel's, Amy, own words.

Today I was in the right place at the right time. As I was leaving the shelter this afternoon, a man came riding up with this little one chained to his bicycle..., running behind. I asked him about his little dog. He told me her name is Coco and explained that he did not have the means to care for her and although he didn't want to, he knew he needed to surrender her. I could tell he was sad about it, and Coco would not take her eyes off of him, so I know he was kind to her. I told him I would take her, and that she would not have to go into the shelter. I think he was shocked at first, then relieved, and then a huge smile emerged. He loaded her up in my car, kissed her on the head, and said goodbye to her, then turned and thanked me, and started riding away. As I was getting her comfortable, I noticed that he stopped his bike, turned around and rode back over to me. When he got close enough, I saw that he was crying. He took a deep breath and he said "God bless you". I said it right back to him, and I really meant it. I did not get his name, but I will be saying a prayer for him tonight that he has food to eat and a safe place to stay. I'm so grateful I was able to help him and Coco.

That is about all that we know about little Coco except that she is adorable and like all the other doggies she deserves a home. We think that Coco is a little papillon mix or perhaps a little spaniel mix. She is only about 12 pounds now but is very skinny.

E-rescue is so happy to step in and help this little girl. She will be at adoptions Saturday at the Petsmart at Bunker Hill and I10 from 11am until 3:30 pm to make your acquaintance. If you cannot make adoptions on Saturday send an email to infoerescuehouston@gmail.com and I will send you an application so you can meet her at another time. She will not be available for you to meet until Saturday
