Kiko's Story...
Are you looking for a fun-loving, ultimate cuddler, smart as can be new best friend? If so, choose me! I'm Kiko, a three year old pup who was picked up as a stray in Shindagin Hollow State Forest. Lucky for me, I ended up at the SPCA where I've made a lot of great people friends who tell me that I'm such a good girl! I love going on adventures and playing with my toys, followed by a nice snooze on my person's lap. Because I'm overly enthusiastic at times, a home without very young children would be best for me. I'm good with other bully breed and rough player types, but a small dog may be intimidated by my play style. If I sound like the right match for you, come in and say hello today. I can't wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiko, a Ithaca Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ithaca, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Ithaca.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ithaca already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ithaca breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ithaca paves the way for another one to be saved.
