BJ's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

BJ's Story...
I am a male Schnauzer/Dachshund mix. I am 7 years old and weigh 13.7 lbs. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention. My adoption is $250.

I was surrendered to the rescue after one of the volunteers saw me on Craigslist. The people had found me over a year ago and were having a new baby. It's a good thing that the volunteer reached out because I was not current on ANYTHING despite the ad saying I was. I also needed a dental! The rescue took care of it all and I am ready for my new home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BJ, a Orlando Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
