Hi,
My name is Peanut - my foster family calls me "Nutty". I'm around 5 years old and have moved around a lot in my short life! I'm in search of a family who is looking for a fun loving, little dog, with a lot of love to give and blankets to keep me warm, for the rest of my life! My foster mom says to tell you that I need a securely fenced yard, because when I get outside, my nose takes over and I'm outta there. It's also very important to me that my new family let's me sleep in bed with them. I get cold and love to snuggle up under the covers.
I am very playful and love to play tug and fetch my toys. I get along with all of the other dogs here, but I'd be fine as an only dog, as long as I'm getting enough human interaction. I like to chase the cats and eat kitty crunchies, so a home with a cat might not be a great idea. I live with a 4-year-old boy and I love to play with and snuggle under the covers with him. I'm just a little guy, at around 10lbs, so little kids will need to be dog savvy or gentle. I don't want to accidentally get hurt!
Our application can be found online at

Animal Placement Bureau's standard adoption fee is $220. Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
Please be kind to our volunteers. E-mail inquiries will be answered much faster than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
