Laila's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Laila's Story...
Laila is a very sweet 10yr old lab who is looking to spend her senior years living the good life. Liala was displaced when her previous owners moved and would have likely been euthanized due to her age if she had been taken to a shelter. She is a very healthy and energetic dog, despite her age. Laila is spayed and up-to-date on all vetting. She has never met a stranger. She loves other dogs. And while Laila is interested in cats, she does not chase them. She is housebroken and crate trained, although she does not require a crate. Laila's favorite activity is laying on a plush dog bed and chewing on a peanut butter filled Kong. Laila needs to be fed gluten (corn, wheat, soy) free diet. If you'd like to add this beautiful, wise dog to your family, please visit our website and fill out the online application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laila, a Southington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Southington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
