Meet Jasper the Incredible, a Super Puppy!
Jasper is an American pit bull terrier mix who is about 4 months old. He is a sweet, gentle, soft hearted puppy! Although Jasper is still perfecting his obedience and potty training skills, he is a fast learner. He already knows sit, leave it, off, out and watch.
Jasper currently lives in a home with a canine foster brother and a feline foster brother. They play together very well and very often. His favorite toy is a knotted up sock and a game of tug-o-war. He is kennel-trained and content in his kennel but also loves to snuggle.
Jasper likes to be around people. He will be your shadow anywhere you want to go. He won't wander far before coming back to make sure you're still there. However, it's with children where Jasper's inherent gentleness shines! He is happy to just follow them around, patiently waiting for a toss of a ball or stick. He takes treats ever so gently, with just the tip of his tongue.
Jasper has an immeasurable amount of love to give, and all the ability to be a wonderful companion to a home ready to care for him.
Jasper’s adoption fee is $350 and he’s located in Oconomowoc, WI. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
