Cody's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Cody's Story...
This handsome boy is Cody. He was found as a stray and never claimed until after we had him neutered but then they did not want him back. They stated that he was born in August of 2014. They also said he is a pure bred Siberian Husky but we cannot verify that even though he does look just like one! Whatever he is- he is beautiful! He is good with all adults and children too. He gets along with all the foster doggies but he really likes to chase the cats so probably best that he doesn't go to a home with cats even though he has never offered to hurt one. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines including rabies, wormed several times, heartworm negative and on preventative. Cody is located in ARKANSAS but we have transport that comes to the Northeast every weekend. When we list our dogs on Adoptapet- they send out the info to all areas that our transport makes stops in. The transport I use is Got Orphans Transport and you can check them out at www.gotransporters.com For more info on Cody and an application- please email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you for considering adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a albany Siberian Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in albany, or seeking a Siberian Husky puppy from a breeder in albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
