RAVEN's Story...
INTRODUCING RAVEN (aka Cuddles): RAVEN is an 18 month old Shepherd / Lab Mix weighing in at about 48 pounds. She is somewhat shy at times but is very sweet toward people. She is very affectionate and loves to be that velcro dog that pals around with you. RAVEN prefers the company of male dogs over females and doesn't care much for having a manicure. She doesn't see the need in it! RAVEN loves to play and enjoys going for walks. She looks like a great guard dog but is really a sweet, people lovin' ball of soft fur!
RAVEN is trained at "PAWS BEHIND BARS," OLDHAM COUNTY'S LUTHER LUCKETT INMATE DOG TRAINING PROGRAM and is learning all the commands, manners and other skills she’ll need to interact politely with humans and other dogs. She is fully-vetted, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. RAVEN is ready to go home! Contact Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue at email: Adoptmebpr@aol.com to meet this lovely girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RAVEN, a LaGrange Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
