My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix puppy who is just under a year old and already weighing 60 pounds. He most probably will top off at 70 pounds when he is a mature 2-3 year old male. This puppy started out with much hope when he was adopted but alas family problems and divorce have now forced his newly single mom to contact us to please rehome him soon. She cannot handle the new single status, children and the fact that she now lives with no fenced yard for this big and active dog to be safely kept within. Piper is a handsome dog that has been raised with another dog, young children and has a nice temperament in all this development from a puppy to an adolescent. He is house trained and partly trained in commands and leash walking. We say partly trained as his breed is extremely smart, willfully defiant and extremely gentle. He is great with other dogs and loves to play the day away. He is also great with cats as well which is a plus. The original family he was adopted by has 1 other dog and 2 cats and Piper is very submissive to them all. He is mostly off leash trained (needs more distraction training), is leash trained but he normally is too nervous to potty on leash. He is extremely good with kids as he has lived with a 14,12,5 and 3 year old child. A great family dog and great friend is what Piper will offer any family. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
