SUNNY's Story...
Meet Sunny! Sunny is Chocolate Lab mix girl, about 2 years old, weighs a little over 60 pounds and has the best temperament in the world. This demure girl is not alpha but tentative in her confidence. A shy and calm girl, she waits for you to tell her it is OK to relax and be comfortable in your presence. Obviously in her past there were perhaps harsh words and an attempt to shoo her away from human contact. She now has come to be so much more playful and happy while in the care of her foster mom. When meeting new people, Sunny is very quiet and never jumps or is high energy. Instead, she is quite the lady. The expressions on her face make you want to wipe away all of the bad experiences from the past. She loves to play outside or cuddle up beside her special foster family. Sunny was a great momma to 7 beautiful puppies! She has raised them well and is now ready for a home of her own. She is crate trained and current on all vaccinations and spayed. Is your home the one she so deserves? ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SUNNY, a Salem Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
