My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Miss Hazel-Mae is an adorable female pit-mix who had a rough start in this world but her rough start didn't change her attitude and love for everything and everyone! She will steal your heart with her head-to-toe wiggle! She is a happy-go-lucky, playful and energetic ball of love that would be a wonderful dog for a big family with kids, cats and other dogs (male or female).
Hazel came to us from the Rocklin City Shelter, where she spent her days playing with scooter the feline and other dogs in the shelter and enjoying walks. She was pickup up as a stray running down Sierra College Blvd., and taken to the shelter on 11/3/2014. Although she is what we call "bomb-proof" (non-reactive to anything she is presented) she will need a family who will be gentle in her training and continue with her positive training. She is a quick learner and very soft and sensitive, so she will benefit from consistency and lot and lots of love. She loves to cuddle, play and love on everyone and everything but she is working on her manners now that she is in an experienced foster home. Hazel is learning crate training, she is learning to stay off the furniture (unless given the command to come up and cuddle up with her foster-fam of course), she is learning house training and a strong routine will surely hone those skills as well!
