DOB: August, 2009 || BREED/COLORING: Pitbull Mix; blue and white || SIZE: Astro is approximately 70lbs and is full grown. || HISTORY: Astro was originally rescued from the shelter where he was turned in as an owner surrender. Unfortunately the rescue who was caring for Astro is no more, and so he entered into our care. || TRAINING: Astro may require some training in a new environment. || WOULD DO BEST: Astro would do best in a home with a family that is Pit-savvy and willing to give him stuff to do to keep busy (walks, training, playing, etc). Astro will require a yard. He could be with another calm, non-Alpha large male dog... but he would prefer to have a yard and family to himself. || CATS/DOGS/KIDS: Astro is not a dog park dog and needs a handler that understands that he can be defensive on leash. He could be with another large male dog that shows no Alpha signs. No cats for him. He has met kids of all ages and has been sweet with everyone. || VET RECORD :All of our dogs are currently vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. || AVAILABILITY: This dog is available for adoption now and is being fostered or kenneled in the San Fernando Valley area. Please email us and we will send you an adoption application. Local adoptions only. || Visit our website: http://www.foreverhomepetrescue.org/ || Visit us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/foreverhome || Make a donation to help us continue to save lives: http://www.foreverhomepetrescue.org/donate.html
