Roxy's Story...
Located in Newmanstown, PA: My name is Roxy and I'm a 6 yr. old, 8.6 lb Maltese. I'm a very huggable little girl and would love nothing more than to be on a loving lap. I do have a bit of separation anxiety so the perfect home would be with someone that is home all the time and doesn't leave me for any length of time. I'm not destructive, when left, but I do have a voice and I will use it. I am housebroken, up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. My son, Irie, is also up for adoption and I sure hope that whoever adopts me, will take him too as we are pretty bonded and love our snuggle and play times together. I am located in Newmanstown, PA

If you can be my (our) perfect home for, please complete the application with American Maltese Association Rescue (http://www.americanmalteserescue.org/application.html)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Telford Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Telford, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Telford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Telford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Telford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Telford paves the way for another one to be saved.
