My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a COURTESY POST, please contact Vickie directly!

LOLA is a true sweetheart and does not have a mean bone in her body. She loves all people and dogs of all sizes, female or male. Lola is amazing with the foster’s little boy and she is so very gentle. We believe she will be good with children of all ages.

Lola is potty trained, crate trained, and very patient. She walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. She does not jump up on people, nor is she a barker.

She would love a playmate to wrestle, chase and then snuggle with. We prefer she goes to a home with another dog to be best friends with. She is just learning the idea of toys and how to play. She has never shown any signs of aggression with food, toys or treats. This special Lady has been living with several other dogs in the Foster’s home and does fantastic. In fact, the Foster says she is the “Best house guest she has ever had”.

IMPORTANT: Lola can jump 6 foot fences. She will need a home with a high fence and a secure yard. It must be that female curiosity, to see if the grass is “really” greener on the other side.

Come meet me and love me. I was dumped at a grade school and the school personnel took such a liking to me, that for several weeks they fed me and gave me a safe place to stay. They had hoped that my people would come back, but left me there to wait for them. With the Christmas Holiday drawing near, the school was scheduled to be closed for the next two weeks, they became very worried. The school personnel called my rescuer to save me and here I am, waiting to be yours. I am a lab/hound mix we believe to be approximately two to three years old and I weigh about fifty pounds. I have been spayed, micro chipped and current on all my shots.

Additional great qualities for this wonderful girl:
• Affectionate and likes to keep you company, will snuggle all day long
• Playful, happy girl
• Takes treats gently and loves her chew bones
• Loves to have her belly rubbed
• Lola is a wonderful gentle soul and a true joy to be around.
