Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Silas was the runt of a litter of 8, but that didn't stop him from diving into the pile of his siblings and fighting for the right to nurse! With a little help from his foster mom, he has grown into a rough and tumble kitten who likes nothing better than for you to wear him out playing with him and then snuggling on your lap for a nice nap! He's the most lovable kitten and you just can NOT go wrong adopting him into your family!
PLEASE NOTE: This posting is a bit different than what BMSCR usually posts, so please read the details carefully. Silas is only 8 1/2 weeks old. If you're interested in him, you CAN put a $50 deposit toward his $100 adoption fee and we will hold him for you until he is 12 weeks (unless you have a younger cat at home, under 2 yrs of age or you adopt one of his siblings with him at 10 weeks of age). If you do not pick up the kitten within a reasonable amount of time after they become available (to be determined by BMSCR staff), we will consider your deposit a donation to BMSCR. Silas is 100% healthy at this time and has had his first and second worming, and first set of shots. However, there is NO guarantee that a kitten will not succumb to an illness beforehand, in which case your deposit WILL be returned in full. Adoption applications will be honored on a first come/first approved basis! Please contact the foster mom at chaslpc@aol.com. Home visits are encouraged to ensure you and the kitten are the right "fit".
