Josie is a female Yorkshire Terrier/Silky Terrier mix approximately 3 years old. She is a gorgeous dog with silver and tan coloring and a super soft, silky, shiny coat. Josie has been professionally groomed and is non-shedding. She currently has a shorter haircut, but her coat will grow out long and flowing if allowed. Josie weighs a solid 16 pounds and is a healthy, sturdy dog. She is a smart, fun loving and affectionate. She is submissive with people, gentle and very friendly. She wants to do the right thing and is eager to please. Josie is happiest when she can be with the family and isn't selective about who she cuddles up with. She likes kids and adults alike. She adores snuggle time and being fussed over. Josie also has a nice amount of energy for long walks, trips to the park or beach, or even short hikes. She is surprisingly athletic and with her intelligence she would probably excel in dog obedience and agility if her new owner were interested in that. Josie plays in a sweet, gentle, silly way and is good with other dogs although she doesn't need another dog around to feel secure. She doesn't like anything too rough and tumble when it comes to dog play, and is just as happy with the nearest toy. Josie has excellent indoor behavior and is housebroken. She can sit on command and walks well on leash. Josie is a wonderful, all around great dog and ready for her new forever home today!
Josie’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Josie is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Sunghye and Joe and is ready for her forever home.
