Carmencita's Story...

This little ball of fire is Carmencita, she is a extra sweet cat with a beautiful coat pattern with bits of tabby, tortoiseshell, and long hair a very unique cat with golden yellow eyes. Carmencita is about a year old and will be your shadow. She is interested in everything you do and will inspect anything from running shower water to what's going on outside the window. If you stop moving, she will too--and will very likely curl up next to you, and if invited in your lap. She's loves to play with toys, likes to climb to the highest surface available, and will greet you at the door when you come. She is fine being held, and will even tolerate baths. Carmencita is all cat, has the energy of a young kitten, and the
friendliness of a dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmencita, a New York Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
