My story

Hi, my name is Gemma and I am a 7 year old spay female, Sable & White Japanese Chin. I was originally surrendered to a rescue in Kansas from a breeder. The Kansas rescue felt I would have a better chance of finding a forever home in Colorado. I came to CJCR on 3/7/15 via an airplane ride from the wonderful people of Pilots N Paws. I am a happy little girl who is loving life outside of a cage and in a home environment. I am adjusting very well and am doing very well on housetraining, however am not 100% yet, but working on it every day. I do have a Grade 4 of 6 heart murmur with a slight left side enlargement. I am not symptomatic of heart problems and am very active and happy, so do not require any medication at this time. My little tail wags all the time since I have been allowed to live outside of a cage and in a loving foster home. I still need to learn how to walk on a leash, but I am sure that I will master that soon. I am a very affectionate and happy dog who would love to go to a forever home.
