Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FIV+. DOB November 22, 2012.
Laura is very shy at first but warms up quickly if you approach her gently. She loves being pet but is not fond of being picked up or held. She absolutely loves belly rubs; she will roll around on her back to show appreciation! She also has an adorable "mew?" when she's confused or intrigued by something.
Laura was was rescued from a life on the streets, and has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with a good diet, low stress, indoor homes, loving families, and annual vet check-ins. She does not require medication. She can live in a home with other non-FIV+ cats, as the virus is only passed to other cats by blood (e.g., deep bite marks). Please do not judge her based on a blood test!
