Iris Bud's Story...
Iris~Bud is a 4 1/2 month old mixed breed puppy. She is stunningly beautiful...inside and out!

She is sweet and gentle and very good. She is potty trained, uses a dogdoor to a fenced yard and and is spay and UTD on all boosters. She is easily scared and needs a quiet home. She was the most timid of all the pups in the litter, so she comes by it naturally.

She is good with other dogs and enjoys the fenced yard and playing with her "friends". She is still here with her mama Rose~ Bud. So she has really benefited from parental guidance:)) Best guess is she will be about 40-50 pounds full grown. Her mom is about 45-50 pounds but we do not know what the father was. He was a dead beat dad!!!

She is not a wild child and is just a more laid back pup. She is healthy. If I did not have so many dogs of my own I would not be writing this update! I would be adopting her......I just love, love, love her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Iris Bud, a Homer American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Homer, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
