Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Velma is a Havanese/Tibetan terrier mix. She is about 2 - 2.5 years old and weighs 16 lbs. Her owner surrendered several dogs to the shelter at the same time. She may be sister to Daphne whom we also rescued at the same time. She is a quiet, low energy dog and is still a little shy when first approached but she is settling down in foster. She is not aggressive, not fearful and not a barker and she's very smart.. She walks well on a leash but does get car sick unless someone is petting her during a ride. She handled grooming well. She loves other dogs. She is a little scared of doors and will run through them very fast! She also has separation anxiety and may chew destructively if left home uncrated and unattended. She needs a person who is home during the day and who will patiently help her overcome her fear of being alone. She is a shy eater and will only eat when everyone goes to bed! Foster mom describes her as gentle, easy going and affectionate.
