My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Perla is a 15 lb. 4 yr. old Havanese/Maltese mix. She is very well adjusted and loves everyone. You'll fall in love with her expressive eyes. She is good on the leash and is a no-nonsense walker, this girl is FEARLESS! She’s also playful and not a chewer, but wouldn't mind a rawhide now and then. She ignores chew toys, she sees you as her play toy and may playfully gnaw at you. She knows to stay off furniture. She really listens and heeds commands. She is a bit of a protective barker (if someone is at the door, and occasionally sometimes on the leash, but is NEVER aggressive). She is housetrained only if crated when not home. She has to be watched and taken our regularly as she doesn't seem to know to give cues. She had a bad flea/dermatitis/yeast/bacterial infection which is starting to clear up. She lost some hair because of it so she is on a special meds/baths regimen to help her clear it up. Perla is an adventurous gal with the mind of pup who loves life and to play!
