Meet Tortellini, the true Pastafarian!
This adorable, young adult tortie cat will make you a true worshipper of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Tortellini, while initially shy with new people, is one of the most affectionate and adorable cats, once given a chance to settle in and come out of her shell. She is so excited for your presence that she will head butt your hand and roll around non stop, just to maximize her petting surface area.
In addition to her sweet personality Tortellini is a unique girl. You see, Torts has a mild form of Pectus Excavatum (PE), a chest deformity that can cause some chest compression and pressure on the heart and lungs. Although she does not have any ongoing medication or medical needs, Tortellini is at higher risk of complications with pneumonia or upper respiratory infections, and therefore her family should monitor her closely for any issues, and keep her up to date on all vet care and have regular exams.
Tortellini came through her spay surgery with flying colors and is now beyond the 2 week post op critical time. Tortellini will need to be keep as an indoor only pet and not be declawed. Thankfully she has been a very well behaved house guest in her foster home and now that she is comfortable she often lounges on the bed waiting for her foster mom to come home from work and give her some much needed pets.
Tortellini is a bit intimidated by the other adult cats in her foster home (she is never aggressive, she just hides) but is slowly getting used to them so she likely could live with a polite, friendly cat with a slow introduction. She has not yet met any dogs while in our care, so we are not sure how she would be with them.
Adopt Tortellini so you can worship her daily!
Tortellini is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines including rabies, is litter box trained, is comfortable having her nails trimmed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
