Turtle's Story...
Name: Turtle
Breed: Heinz 57
Age: Adult
Gender: Male

Turtle is a mixed up mutt...we don't even have a guess as to the breeds that make up this adorable little guy. He's part wrinkles, part stocky, and a whole lot of adorable. Turtle is in a pound and needs a foster or someone wanting to take him on a foster-to-adopt to come to rescue. He is friendly with dogs, friendly with people, but cats are unknown. He will likely need housetraining polished up but crates nicely and tries really hard to mind his manners. He knows how to sit already and soaks up training like a sponge. Turtle is an expert snuggler and loves attention.

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turtle, a Minneapolis Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
