Lady's Story...
Meet Lady!!! She is an incredible 3 to 5 year old Maltese who barely escaped being put to sleep at our high kill shelter before we pulled her and saved her life. She is about 11 lbs, potty and crate trained, very playful, loves dogs and laps!!! She is a true sweetheart. Her intake notes state that she was a service dog and knows sign language but we have no way of testing that out. We do know she does not trust men so a home with out men or a man that would be willing to work with her would be required. If you would like to adopt her, please fill out an interest form at www.ahome4spot.com or text 702.370.7551. Don't waste time because we are sure she will be adopted by the end of the weekend. No small or hyperactive children recommended.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Las Vegas Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
