My story

Hi there. My name is Boomer. I'm 3 years old and I weigh 60 lbs.
I was surrendered to the pound by my owner after an extensive humane investigation at our home.
I was the "outside" dog, which is probably a good thing as far as I'm concerned because the inside of the house was absolutely deplorable. I did go in the house sometimes, and I actually seem to be pretty clean in my kennel, there is a possibility that I may have had some house training at some point in my life. I, by far, appear to be the best cared for animal from my home. I am in good shape and I am MUCH cleaner than the dogs who lived inside.
I'm a really sweet boy, but I am lacking manners as well as leash training, so it does make me hard to walk. I am very food motivated so that will make me much easier to train.
I do get along very well with the other dogs since I have been here at the pound.
I really hate being cooped up in a kennel and I am hoping to find a new home soon!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MARCH 26, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
