My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Twila is an absolutely gorgeous, loving girl! She adores people she knows and will cuddle up next to you given the chance! She is about 60 lbs and is about 1 year old. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dog! She is a absolute joy to have around! Twila lived on the Indian Reservation. Her family didn't keep her safe inside, so she was constantly wandering around. She had injured her foot as a pup, and never been taken to the vet for it. Finally her family surrendered her to the tribal police on the Reservation and we brought her home along with her two pups. She limped and was in pain from the injury to her foot, so she had to have a toe amputated. Now she runs like the wind! Twila is great with kids and other dogs! She is super smart and even though she had never been in a house before being rescued, she never had any accidents and was crate-trained in just a couple of days. She listens and is very well behaved. She is an active dog and loves to swim. She would make a great jogging, hiking and/or camping buddy. Twila is an amazing, good natured, wonderful dog that will make a great addition to a loving family! She will do best in a home with a nice yard that she can run in, and preferably one or more doggy friends with whom she can play. The adoption fee for Twila is $175 and includes spay, microchip, DAPP and rabies vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting Twila, please contact Delon.Washo@asu.edu or text your email address to 602-295-4518 to request an application.
