My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma area.

NAME: Abbi
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 1 Year
WEIGHT: About 4.5 Pounds
DOGS/CATS: Great with other small dogs, Great with cats
CHILDREN: Will be great in a home with older children (12 and older)

Meet Abbi! Abbi is a beautiful Chihuahua with a terrific personality and a lot of love to share. She is about 1 year old, and ready for a forever home!

Abbi has an amazing personality. She loves everyone and every thing. Abbi gets along great with the small dogs in her foster home. She loves to play with them and hang around them. There are also cats in her foster home and she gets along great with them too. Abbi also enjoys playing with toys.

Abbi really loves to go outside and play in the sun. She will explore the yard, then go lay on the patio and sun herself! Because of her tiny size, you will want to be out in the yard with her to protect her (there are cases of larger birds such as hawks snatching tiny dogs less than 5 pounds and flying off with them). Abbi also enjoys going on walks with her humans. She is currently learning to walk on a leash and enjoys every single walk that she takes!

One of Abbi's favorite things in the world is her humans. She adores her humans and wants to spend as much lap and cuddle time as she can with them. So once she is done playing, she loves to cuddle and to be held. She will give you kisses daily to show you how much she adores you. If you are looking for a little love bug to watch TV with at night - Abbi wants to volunteer for the job!

Abbi is very smart. She has fit in well at her foster home. She is potty trained and she also has learned to use pee pee pads. Abbi is also crate trained, and gives you no problem when it is bed time! She also enjoys cuddling up in bed and sleeping with her family. So if you want a cuddle buddy at night, Abbi will be happy to fulfill that desire!

Abbi is a quiet little girl. Even with all the activity in the home, she rarely barks. Abbi would do great in a home with other small dogs (or cats). We also believe she would be great as an only dog as long as her family has a great deal of loving time to share with her.

Abbi is a petite 4.5 pounds, and is fully grown. Due to her small size, we recommend a home with older children (12 and older) for Abbi.

Abbi is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
