Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Harlan! He's a 10.5 month old bloodhound that's an old, gentle soul in a large puppy body. He currently weighs in at 100 lbs and will likely add another 30-40 lbs before he's done so he needs some space. Harlan is a dog with all the wonderful hound traits (loyal, loving, sensitive) and is missing some of those that are a little less desirable for families (he does not bay or bark and he has excellent recall off-leash). Harlan is the sweetest boy you could imagine and doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but he is a puppy and still likes to chew on things and bound about. He is a family dog and will be adopted as a companion to a family, not as hunting or tracking stock. Harlan is very sensitive and needs positive reward based training as he will shut down if harshly corrected or even spoken to. Harlan thrives on being with a family and is perfect with children of all sizes as he's very careful around little ones. Harlan also loves other dogs - any dog, any size, any age. At his previous home he was taken by The Puget Hound for trail hikes with a variety of other dogs and loved them all. We have yet to see him around cats but we think he'd be fine with them as long as he's given consistent boundaries..
