Lily's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lily's Story...
Lily is here at A4A, ready for adoption! Lily came to A4A after being left behind by her former guardians when they moved away. She came to us front declawed. She is spayed, FVRCP vaccination, and Felv tested. Lily does well with other cats and dogs, but does prefer a calm home and a home without small children (she becomes very overwhelmed when being chased, etc). Lily had an incredibly difficult past in her former home, where she was not treated well. Because of her prior treatment, Lily does not like her back-end touched and will bite/nibble if touched in that area. She needs an adopter who is okay with this and who is willing to let Lily come to them when she is ready/warmed up.

Lily's A4A foster parents shared: "She LOVES to be held. She cries until you pick her up. She is talkative. Very affectionate. She gets along with cats and dogs after the initial warming up period as she is shy at first." Lily is very sweet and hopes to find a loving, forever home to call her own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Xenia Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
