Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Most recent update: Mia appears to be a shepard mix, and she is two years old. Mia weighs 51 lbs and is just so lovey. She was found abandoned with her puppies in a rural southern area right before a big ice storm (yes, even in the south they've had a crazy winter this year!) Her puppies have been adopted now and Mia is patiently awaiting her own forever family. She walks nicely on leash and she loves the play yard with the other dogs. She already knows how to sit and she scored in the top category on a SAFER assessment (a commonly used temperament test).
Are you ready for a loving sweet grown-up girl to add to your family? Then Mia just might be the one!
Mia is the sweetest most gentle dog! She has integrated into a foster home with multiple other dogs and cats and she is good with everyone. She just wants to be next to her human! Mia is fed separately because she is very food motivated, not aggressive, just would be happy to take care of anyone else’s leftovers!
Living in a home is new to Mia so some of the noises like vacuum cleaners are new to her. She is taking extremely well to having a warm couch and friends of all species ; 0 )
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
