Bella's Info...

I am housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Bella's Story...
AVAILABLE 03-26-15 Bella was brought to the Shelter because her owner has a broken leg and is unable to walk down the stairs to take Bella out on leash to go to the bathroom. You see - Bella is housetrained and since the yard isn't fenced, she would go out on leash to relieve herself. Bella is a two year old American Pit Bull/Husky Mix with beautiful coloring. Bella is a real sweetheart; the owner said she gets along well with other dogs and kids of all ages. Since her arrival, we have caught up her shots and Bella's heart worm test was negative for heart worm disease so she has been given preventative. Bella walks well on leash and is a real love bug - she really seems to truly love people. Please come to the Shelter in Elizabeth City and meet sweet Bella, take her for a walk, give her a belly rub - you might just decide to make her your new canine BFF.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Elizabeth City American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky for sale in Elizabeth City, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky dog from a breeder in Elizabeth City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elizabeth City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elizabeth City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elizabeth City paves the way for another one to be saved.
