My name is Otto – well it is now. That is the name my foster mummy gave me … see when my family left me at the pound they did not provide any information on me not even my name so everything about who I was and what I did the last 6 years was wiped away just in the blink of an eye
I really did not fare well at the pound; the confusion and the noise was too much for me. Being locked up in a cage for 3 days was very hard for me and I paid the price by walking out of there very dirty and with a cough
Thankfully it did not take too long for CAA Rescue to come and get me and put me into their foster care program! My foster mama takes very good care of me. She has spent time grooming me and feeding me special dinners to help heal my upset tummy
I think every dog should have a wonderful foster mama like my mama!
I am very polite on the leash and do very much enjoy my walks
I am house broken and do my business outside
I do live with another dog in foster care; and I did meet a puppy and spent some time with him so I think it is safe to say that I am dog friendly but I am a pom and so require being the center of attention
I have not been around cats or young children but I think I would definitely be happier in a home where I can be the spoiled one! So no homes with young children for me!
While so far I am not your typical crazy nonstop 500 hundred miles an hour Pom as I am pretty calm for the most part but I am vocal with new noises so bested suited for a home life and not apartment. I can tell you right now that I am not a yappy dog but when the door bell rings you can be sure I have to let the whole neighborhood know! I am suspicious of strangers and will announce any and all new arrivals into the home. The great thing is that there will be no sneaking quietly to the fridge for a midnight snack because I will be sure to announce your presence to everyone I am a DIET HELPER MAN! :)
I am an EXCELLENT watch dog – make no mistake about that!
I am Furry Funny and Feisty! My long pretty coat means you will have to give extra consideration towards my grooming. I do not like to be picked up by everyone; I am selective this way … so my four paws should stay on the ground as much as possible
The pom breed is a very smart and extremely loyal dog and those people who have know Pomeranians in the past truly love and appreciate their special characters. While I am pretty laid back as far as Pomeranians go I am still very true to my breed
I am not overly dependent on my humans like let’s say a Chihuahua is … those silly chis always grabbing all the attention! I like to be with humans but I can also be by myself
