My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello dear friends! Amani here looking for my new forever home. I was found on the streets of Olney as a stray, and taken to the Montgomery County shelter to find a new home. The county staff thought I was gray because my white fur was so dirty! It’s really lonely out there! But even through the dirt, my mesmerizing gold eyes AND personality shone through. Just look at me; I am adorable and just the kind of playful, active cat who would do well in a family! Do you have someone who would like to run around and chase toys with me? First on my list is meeting new friends, human AND cat. I am not picky about toys – my favorite toys are anything that moves! I am super friendly too. While I am not a lap cat at this time, I do LOOVVE to be petted. I personally think there are too many things to do to have time for sitting around. Please don’t be put off by the fact that I lost two canine teeth while surviving the wild...it does not affect me at all. I am a very curious kitty with lots of energy, but I love people and am so very friendly! Is your home ready for a new furry companion? I might be the one and I think you should stop by and see me soon. I was born in 2014.
